How Can I Pay For The Treatments I Receive?

At Total Activation Physical Therapy, we provide multiple options to help you pay for your treatments. We recognize that special circumstances may exist, and that an extended course of physical therapy is a costly venture. We can assure you that we will work closely with your insurance company to get the maximum payments on your behalf. Please remember that you, not your insurance company, are fully responsible for your bill. You can use one or a combination of the options below to make sure you get the treatment you need.

Payment Methods Accepted

At Total Activation Physical Therapy, we accept most insurance plans, cash, checks, Mastercard, and Visa. Please call 201-723-7149 with questions regarding insurance.


Insurance

1. Many insurance plans or Medicare will cover a portion or all of the treatments. We are participating providers for many insurance companies. We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicare, workers compensation, and many others. We will bill your insurance company weekly as long as you are receiving treatment.

2. You are responsible for co-pays and deductibles. Your co-payment, if any, must be paid at each visit throughout the course of our treatment. If a deductible is part of your policy, then you will be billed any part of your treatment that was applied to your deductible. If you are having trouble paying your portion, please speak with the office manager to arrange a mutually agreeable payment.

3. After your first visit, we will call your insurance and find out your benefits. As a courtesy, we will provide you with a written summary of your physical therapy benefits with an estimated co-pay amount, if you have one. Even if we are out of your network, many times we are able to accept your in-network benefits and co-payments without penalty. If you'd like to know this information before starting therapy, we'd be happy to find out your benefits prior to your first treatment.

4. If you were injured in a car accident, we can bill your car insurance or your health insurance. We cannot bill the other driver's insurance. If the accident was not your fault, your insurance company will recoup its costs from the other driver's insurance. If you have an attorney, and decide to pay for your treatment through your health insurance, you are responsible for your copayments.
